An owner-operator opportunity should be assessed as an operating arrangement, not just an advertised weekly number. Before joining F/X, confirm the freight, compensation method, deductions, equipment requirements and home-time arrangements for the specific program.

Understand what a settlement includes

Ask how revenue is calculated, which miles or loads are paid and how fuel surcharge is handled. Request a clear explanation of deductions and any costs paid outside the carrier settlement. Revenue, settlement after deductions and personal take-home income are different measures.

Discuss the freight and the return trip

Ask about the operating area, loaded and empty movement, pickup schedules and expected return freight. Explain where you live and where you need to park or reset. A general description of dedicated freight does not confirm every future trip.

Check equipment and onboarding

Provide your truck details and experience. Ask recruiting to confirm the current acceptance criteria, inspection process, orientation and required paperwork. Do not import another Pure company's truck-age or experience requirements into an FX application.

What should I ask about an advertised bonus?

Ask about eligibility, payment timing and the conditions attached to the specific offer. Confirm the terms before relying on a bonus in your planning.

Does a published average guarantee my earnings?

No. Establish what the average represents and which costs are included. Discuss your circumstances and the program terms with recruiting.

How do I explore an F/X owner-operator opening?

Call 866-737-2186 or use the official F/X owner-operator application option. Provide your location, truck details and preferred operating area.
